What Is Super Visa Insurance?
With a Canadian Super Visa, parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents can travel to Canada and stay with their relatives for up to two years at a time. In 2011, Canada introduced the super visa, making it an easier process for families to come together.
As a requirement of the parent and grandparent super visa, applicants must have proof of Canadian medical insurance coverage for a period of at least one year and for a minimum coverage amount of at least $100,000 for healthcare, hospitalization, and repatriation. The insurance policy should cover the entire duration of your stay in Canada, so you have nothing to worry about except spending time with your loved ones and exploring our beautiful country.
